In the cup you get a beautiful, sweet coffee full of plum and peach flavours and a lovely honey sweetness.

We paid $4.50 per lb.* for this coffee which is 221.4% more than the Fair Trade price and 165.8% more than the average C Price for 2021.

*This was the price paid to producers before any shipping, haulage, storage and export/import fees.

This is the second year in a row we've bought coffee from Finca Los Angeles, a beautiful farm situated in the Ahuachapán mountain range in the west of El Salvador. The farm is owned by Sigfredo Corado, a retired professor of Agronomy from the National School of Agriculture. Since Sigfredo took on the farm he has used no herbicides, which has helped to replenish the soil and nutrients and given a good base for growing coffee once again.

The Processing

This Geisha microlot was selectively harvested before being taken to the mill and drying beds at Beneficio San Rafael where it was processed as a natural.
