Brazil - Mió Microlot 1988 - 200g

Please Note: All coffee is sold as whole bean only. All orders received before midnight on a Saturday are roasted packed & shipped on the Monday.

Don't forget, there's free shipping on all UK orders. That way, there's no nasty surprises at checkout!

The natural processing of this Microlot has given us a lovely red berry flavour alongside hazelnut and milk chocolate notes.

We paid $3.34 per lb.* for this coffee which is 138.6% more than the Fair Trade price and 97.2% more than the average C Price for 2021.

*This was the price paid to producers before any shipping, haulage, storage and export/import fees.

Mió is a coffee farm in Monte Santo de Minas, Brazil. A third of the land at Mió is used for processing and milling facilities, pasture areas and the plantation of eucalyptus trees. The rest of the land is equally divided between the coffee trees and native forest. Two years ago Mió decided to export, ship and import their own coffee to the UK themselves and this is the second year in a row we have bought a microlot directly from them. It’s our great privilege to continue this direct trade relationship with Mió, hopefully for many years to come.

The Processing

The Mundo Novo cherries for this microlot went through a natural process after harvesting.
